Silver Bangles Workshop - Saturday 13th July 2024
Learn all the traditional silversmithing and forging techniques you need to create stunning sterling silver bangles!
Choose to make either a traditional hammered bangle with a texure that catches the light beautifully, or a pair of lighter bangles with curves and waves created using metal dies - the choice is yours!
14 to 16 year olds are welcome but will need to be accompanied by a paying adult.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in the workshop fee.

10am-1pm Saturday 13th July 2024 at Fairways House, Mount Pleasant Road, Southampton, SO14 0QB. Full directions will be emailed.
Materials
Materials (sterling silver wire) are available for purchase on the day. The exact cost of the materials will be determined by the size and therefore weight of the bangle you make and the price of silver on the day, however material costs for an average classic hammered bangle is approximately £22. A wavy bangle uses approximately half as much silver as that.
Tools and Equipment
The workshop fee includes use of all the tools and equipment needed. All workshops include worksheets to take home with you and discuss tools, equipment, materials and health and safety considerations.
Cancellations
Cancellations of workshop places and private tuition bookings within four weeks of the event will forfeit the workshop fee/private tuition deposit unless I am able to find someone to take your place. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend.
