Making the most of your Rolling Mill - Friday 7th February 2025

Making the most of your Rolling Mill - Friday 7th February 2025

Regular price £90.00

A class designed to help you get the most out of this wonderfully versatile piece of workshop equipment!

A rolling mill is a big investment to make but, if looked after properly, it will last you a lifetime. This workshop will teach you how to use a wide range of materials to texture silver sheet, how to change the profile of not just sheet but wire as well so that you can confidently recycle your scrap into new materials, and, perhaps most importantly, how to care for your rolling mill.

We will also cover the different types of rolling mills available and the advantages of each - perfect if you are still deciding which mill to invest in! There will be three rolling mills available for use during the weekend, and if you would like to bring your own mill with you to learn how to use and care for it you are welcome to.

Only 6 places are available to ensure that everyone gets the help and attention they need and so that everyone gets enough time using the rolling mills. This class is not suitable for under 16 year olds.

Tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes are included in the workshop fee, but lunch is not provided. Please note that we are a peanut-free venue.
