10 week jewellery class - Tuesday mornings starting 14th January 2025
This class is perfect for everyone from complete beginners upwards. The small group setting with a maximum of 8 students will ensure that you get the attention you need to help you create beautiful jewellery - and learn wonderful techniques to use to continue creating afterwards!
You can choose to take one block of 10 week classes or continue for as long as you wish - it's up to you! The dates for classes in the Summer term 2025 will be available in February.
If you are new to jewellery making I will take you through the basic skills, teaching you how to make rings, bangles or chains and how to saw, file, form, texture and polish silver before moving onto stone setting and other more complex projects.
If you have previous jewellery making experience then this is the ideal course to help you advance your skills to tackle more complicated projects - tube setting, hollow forms, Keum Boo, flush setting, anticlastic and synclastic forming, making bowls, resin, sand casting and riveting are just a few of the techniques we can cover!
Tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes are included in the workshop fee.
